A Rave for the Dazed 100

A Night to Remember

As Calvin Klein's experiential agency of record in 2017, our creative partnership began with a massive rave in Bushwick, celebrating that year’s Dazed 100. We were tasked with creating a night of music and entertainment for the next wave of creative talent across fashion, design, architecture, and music.

Experience Design and Influencer Programming

Inspired by Berlin's nightlife, we took over a vacant Bushwick warehouse. Inside, projectors bathed two rooms in gray and showcased ambient projections of the Dazed 100 names alongside an interactive wheat-pasting wall. The venue’s design aimed to provide an immersive and visually striking environment that celebrated the honorees.

Stage Design and Performances

The main event featured a kinetic light show by renowned lighting designer Tobias Rylander, complemented by a custom stage design of moving mirrors. These mirrors flashed and pulsated alongside performances by Heron Preston, Arca, and Kelela, creating an electrifying atmosphere that lasted well into the early morning.

Scope of the Project

The project encompassed experience design, influencer programming, photography, social content, and stage design. By combining innovative design elements with top-tier performances, we delivered a memorable night that celebrated pop culture disruptors and reinforced Calvin Klein’s commitment to supporting cutting-edge talent and creativity.
